Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin has
appointed First Deputy Prosecutor of Crimea Nazar Kholodnytsky to be
Anti-Corruption Prosecutor.
"On November 30, Prosecutor General of
Ukraine Viktor Shokin with his decree appointed Nazar Kholodnytsky as Chief of
the Special-Purpose Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and Deputy Prosecutor
General of Ukraine," PGO's press service reported.
According to the press service, the general
prosecutor has reviewed the recommendations of the tender commission for the
selection of candidates for administrative posts in the Specialized
Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office on appointing Maksym Hryschuk and Nazar
Kholodnytsky as deputy prosecutor general of Ukraine, head of the Specialized
Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
"Viktor Shokin has studied data on testing
the candidates on the knowledge of the legislative base and general abilities,
reviewed the video with the interviews of the tender commission members with
the two contenders, got acquainted with their personal affairs and held private
interviews with each of them," reads the report.
Then he signed an order on appointing
Kholodnytsky to the post.
