President at the NABU meeting: Networking will not protect corrupt officials

At the NABU meeting, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko emphasized that nobody would avoid punishment for corruption.

The President emphasized the importance of NABU’s independence from other institutions for its efficiency, speed and secrecy. “Nobody is safe from the Bureau’s attention and any networking will not provide indulgence or protection,” Petro Poroshenko said.

According to the Head of State, the NABU contains special ops troops, analysts and detectives. They have all the necessary functions to demonstrate the efficiency of the Ukrainian struggle against corruption to the entire world. “During the first days, the first weeks of their work they proved that the NABU has no closed spheres or untouchables,” he said.

The President wished the newly appointed staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau’s Special Operations Department a successful struggle against corruption, which is the greatest evil that hinders the advancement of the state.
