A moratorium on business checks will be extended for at least another year,
Head of the State Regulatory Service Kseniya Liapina has said at a briefing.
"We hope that in the near future the parliament will approve the
extension of the moratorium on all kinds of inspections, except for the plan of
audits set by the Cabinet, which, in turn, has to be justified or upon a
consumer complaint.
That means that checks will be restricted during at least
another year," she said.
According to her, this is due to the fact that currently 80% of regulatory
authorities are in the process of reforming and reorganization.
"This is needed to complete the transition periods of normative
regulation, since 80% of controlling agencies are in the process of
reorganization, which is being delayed," the expert said.
In addition, Liapina said that this year the regulatory service during
joint work with the controlling authorities intends to develop new standards
for behavior of inspectors.
