‘Ask me anything you want to know’ is Mr Koenders’ message as he becomes the first Dutch minister to answer questions in a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session.
The motivation
for this session was the Netherlands EU Presidency. Koenders wants to improve
transparency of EU decision-making, for example though the use of digital
technology.

On
Monday 8 February, Mr Koenders will be standing by to answer questions from the
general public. The session will start at 15.45 (CET) and will last half an
hour. Anyone can follow the AMA by going to this webpage.
To
ask the minister a question, however, you’ll need a Reddit account. You can ask
your question by adding a new thread to the first message posted by Mr
Koenders.
Mr
Koenders is following in the footsteps of various international politicians and
entrepreneurs, such as Barack Obama and Bill Gates, who have also hosted AMAs
of their own.
