Ukraine, Poland sign agreement on security cooperation

March 5, the agreement on cooperation between the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine and the National Security Bureau (BBN) of the Republic of Poland has been signed in Warsaw.
The document has been signed by secretary of the NSDC Oleksandr Turchynov and chairman of BBN Stanislaw Koziej.
"We have signed a protocol on cooperation between the NSDC and the BBN. This is an expression of the needs and desires for cooperation between our agencies, as well as the implementation of the will of our presidents, they expressed recently during commemoration of the EuroMaidan anniversary in Kyiv," Koziej said.
According to him, the agreement provides for cooperation in regional security, security of both countries.
The BBN chairman said that the parties would cooperate in Ukraine's approach to the EU and the NATO, prepare the overall strategic plans in the field of security, hold meetings at various levels, as well as exchange information of interest to both sides.
