We need to achieve a significant improvement of Ukraine in the World Bank's
Doing Business ranking, "so that starting from 2016 to have foreign
investors", stressed Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during
presentation of the public report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on a
hundred days of activity on Thursday, March 12.
According to him, the objectives for the Government and the Parliament on
deregulation should be implemented during the current year.
"It is clear that in the current year it is difficult to draw certain
private capital. As long as the situation in the eastern Ukraine is
destabilized by the Russian Federation and Russia-led terrorists, we will have
support exceptionally from international financial institutions, such as the
International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development. But aftermath we will have a private investor
coming, and he must understand what rules he should follow," stressed the
Head of Government.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed his belief that in the next three months there
would be approved all laws, "which will afford Ukraine to improve it
presentation in the Doing Business ranking and to prove once again that we are
not just talking about the reforms, we are implementing them".
