Ukrainian President to sign the law introducing new military greeting "Glory to Ukraine! - Glory to Heroes!"

President Petro Poroshenko informed that he would sign the Law "On Amendments to the Statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" approved by the Parliament, which introduces a new greeting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Glory to Ukraine! - Glory to Heroes!". The Head of State told this during the opening ceremony after the reconstruction of a new monument to the combatants in the city of Bolhrad in the framework of the working trip to Odesa region.
"A little more than in a week we will celebrate the Day of the Defender of Ukraine. Not on February 23, when we were offered to celebrate the holiday of the aggressor-country. But our, Ukrainian Day of the Defender, Ukrainian defender which the entire Ukrainian people is proud of," Petro Poroshenko said.

"And by that time, I will have signed the draft law adopted yesterday by the Verkhovna Rada, which I, as President, proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to amend the military statutes. And now, our "Glory to Ukraine!" will be heard throughout Ukraine,” the Head of State emphasized.
