The new IT resource provides an open access to control
public expenditures of budgets of all levels.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has launched a web
portal that enables to obtain detailed information about the use of public
funds by government authorities.
At the present stage, the website affords to search
transactions on the State Treasury accounts. In November another option will be
available with updated information on the use of funds from the State Budget,
local budgets, the Pension Fund and Social Insurance Fund. From 1 January 2016,
the web portal will contain data about the expenditures of each state and
municipal enterprises, thus, the use of the budget money will reach a maximum
transparency level.
In the future it is planned to open access to data via
API for analytical service developers.
“Transparency of public
expenditures is among factors of a sound investment climate. Today Ukraine has made a huge step
to ensure greater transparency of the budget,” comments Deputy Minister of
Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Yulia Klymenko.
