DONBAS —
The intensification of the information war against Ukraine
is observed on the eve of the Minsk meeting.
Particularly,
while covering the situation in the region, the Russian news agencies
broadcast false information referring to an alleged joint stance
of the Ukrainian and Russian parties of the JCCC. This information
is false.
The Ukrainian
party of the JCCC recommends the Russian news agencies to specify
which party of the JCCC provides them with the information.
State Russian
media published the information with reference to so called Donetsk
News Agency concerning alleged prevention of repair of power lines
near Horlivka on January 18th because of alleged attacks by the
Ukrainian army. They presented this information as information of the
JCCC.
It is not
true. The Ukrainian party of the JCCC stresses the works were carried out
and completed as scheduled. Moreover, the Russian party of the JCCC
proposed this schedule.
Having regard
to the above, we can make a conclusion that the participation
of the Russian party in approval of works applications means the
necessity of organization of disinformation campaigns, especially,
on the eve of the Minsk meeting but not the renewal of the
Donbas infrastructure.
