Government approved additional list of commodities banned for import from the Russian Federation

At its session on January 20, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to extend the list of goods prohibited for import to the territory of Ukraine from the Russian Federation. The supplement enumerates over 70 commodity items, mostly foods. This was announced by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of UkraineOlexii Pavlenko.
According to the Minister, taking into account the recent developments the list of banned products includes, in particular, meat, fish and fish products, confectionery.

The Minister also noted: "The Government's stance is that in response to the Russian aggression, including trade restrictions, Ukraine will further portect its interests using all possible diplomatic and legal tools".
