Spanish court orders arrest of several Putin's allies – El Mundo

Judge Jose de la Mata , who has been investigating the activity of organized crime groups Tambovskaya and Malyshevskaya , notes that there are “very serious facts” against each of the charged individuals, the list of whom includes a general and a former deputy prime minister, El Mundo reported.
The arrest warrant is issued as a result of the so-called Troika operation, developed in 2008 against major mafia networks of Eastern Europe. In the operation, two mob leaders - Gennadiy Petrov and Alexander Malyshev were arrested along with 20 other members of the organized criminal groups.

Following the arrest of the two kingpins, the investigation has revealed the extent of the mafia network and its ties with the top Russian authorities.
One of the most important names whose arrest was ordered is Vladislav Matusovich Reznik, who was a chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Credit Institutions and Financial Markets of the State Duma and member of the National Council of Banks in Russia.
Another suspect is Nikolai Nikolaevich Aulov, chief of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of Russia in the Central federal district.
