The purpose of the bill is to improve the
constitutional foundations of justice for the practical implementation of the
principle of the rule of law and ensuring everyone the right to a fair trial
before an independent and impartial tribunal.
The bill proposes to articles 124 - 129, 130, 131, 147
- 148, 149, 151, 153 of the Basic Law of Ukraine set forth in a new wording,
supplemented by the Constitution of Ukraine with new
articles 1291, 1301, 1311 - 1312 1 148, 1491, 1511 - 1512
to amend Articles 29, 55, 59, 85, 92, 106, 108, 110,
111, 136, 150, 152, section XV "Transitional Provisions" of the Basic Law
of Ukraine
and to exclude from the Constitution Section VII «The
prosecutor's office."
