Rada adopts bill amending Tax Code to reduce pressure on business

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted the bill amending the Tax Code of Ukraine to reduce the tax burden on business.
All in all, 285 deputies voted for the adoption of bill No. 2004 on amendments to the Tax Code (with respect to reducing the tax burden on tax payers).
The bill provides for the inclusion in the Tax Code of the norm under which controlling and other authorities are banned from using inspection reports as a basis for conclusions about relations between the taxpayer and contractors, in particular processing information in the databases of controlling and other authorities if the tax decision on the results of the tax inspection has not been handed over to the taxpayer.

The bill also supplements the list of documents that allow regulatory authorities to start inspection with the following specification: the copy of an order for inspection should contain the date of issue, the name of the supervisory authority, the name and address of the object (the surname, first name of the individual taxpayer), the basis for checks and the information proving this, the date of start and the duration of checks, the post and name of officials carrying out checks, and information on the implementation of previous checks. The order for checks in such a case is valid if it signed by the head of the supervisory authority or their deputy and sealed.
