Cyprus canceled the last restrictions on the movement of capital

Cyprus President Nikos Anastasiadis said Monday 6 April abolished all restrictions on the movement of capital, which were introduced in April 2013, in connection with an acute financial crisis.
Anastasiadis at a news conference on Friday said that the country out of the crisis and announced additional measures that will contribute to economic growth.
According to the president, who published government Press and Information Office, the government managed to restore international confidence in the country, to stabilize the banking system.
"From next Monday canceled the last restrictions on the movement of capital relating to the exchange and transfer of funds abroad. Cancel remaining restrictions marks the final restoration of confidence in our banking system," - said the president.
He also said that the government has taken action on a number of projects that will lead to the creation of jobs.
