President Petro Poroshenko has signed
the Law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding
the establishment of conditions for international cooperation between entities of
aircraft and the development of domestic aircraft industry."
The law was adopted by the Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine on July 14, 2016.
The law is aimed at creating
favorable conditions for the development of Ukrainian aircraft and includes
amendments to the Laws of Ukraine "On the Development of Aircraft
Industry", "On peculiarities of state property management in the
military-industrial complex" and the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of
Ukraine "On regulation of the activities of business entities, created
with the participation of state-owned enterprises."
The implementation of the Act will
improve the competitiveness and production volumes of domestic aircraft, will
help to attract new technologies and investments in the projects of the
Ukrainian enterprises and ensure the creation of new jobs.
Law comes into force from the day
following the day of its publication.
