The Government of Ukraine endorses a package of sanctions against the Russian

The Government of Ukraine endorses a package of sanctions against the Russian Federation and submits them to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced at a Government meeting on Wednesday, August 12.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded the day before there had entered force extended sanctions against Russia imposed by the Government of the United States of America: "Therefore, today the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approves another enlarged package of sanctions, introduces for consideration by the National Security and Defense Council".

In general, two orders of the Government envisage 1124 persons and 156 entities subject to sanctions.
It should be noted, the Government of Ukraine adopted its first order (No. 829-R) on the imposing of sanctions on 11 September 2014. In particular, restrictions concerned a ban on entry to Ukraine, moving out assets from Ukraine, participation in privatization, military and dual purpose product export to the Russian Federation.
