Ukrainian government not to extend contract with Naftogaz CEO Kobolyev

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will announce an open competition for the position of the Chairman of the Executive Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine on March 23.
"We have made a decision to announce on March 23 an open and public competition in accordance with good governance, in accordance with Government Decree No. 777, which provides for completely open public competition with the participation of our international partners. We will announce a competition for the position of the Chairman of the Executive Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said at the Cabinet’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Groysman added the contract with Naftogaz CEO, Chairman of the Executive Board Andriy Kobolyev ends on March 22.
The PM noted that the government would seek from the company's supervisory board recommendations on the terms of the new contract to be signed with the chairperson of the Executive Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, who will be selected pursuant to the appropriate procedures.
