Hungary's new minister for Transcarpathia faces Ukraine entry ban if no explanations provided – MFA

Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar has said if Hungary does not provide the necessary explanations as for the newly created post of its authorized minister responsible for the development of Transcarpathia, Ukraine is ready to react strongly, including to ban the official's entry. The Ukrainian government has been expecting official explanations from the Hungarian partners, but so far Budapest remains silent, Bodnar told the news outlet Europeiska Pravda in a comment.

"If there is no reaction, if there are no detailed explanations and if the name of the position is not changed – Ukraine will have to react strongly, we do not rule out a possible ban on entry, although, of course, we would not want that," he said.
