Ukrainian Prime Minister presented the Government's Report for the II and III quarter



At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Wednesday, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman presented the Government's Report for the II and III quarter of 2016.
Volodymyr Groysman reminded that after the formation of the new Cabinet of Ministers there had been developed a Plan of anti-crisis actions of the Government.

The Prime Minister stressed that among the topmost priorities for the Government is the development of the national economy, which will bring additional resource to reinvest into quality of life of Ukrainian citizens.
The Head of Government stressed that nowadays there is observed economic growth in Ukraine.
In particular, according to statistical data, industrial output grew by 2% in Ukraine after a long period of decline, construction production index upped by 11.9 %, there is observed slowing down of inflationprocesses: in nine months of 2016 - 6.4% as compared to 43.3 % in 2015.
Average monthly salary in January-August 2016 rose by 24.4 % and makes up UAH 4 944.
Moreover, investment volumes increased by over USD 2.5 billion, which exceeds by 19 % the corresponding period of last year.
"It implies the signals we have. Today we can see positive signals, but these positive signals should affect each Ukrainian family. Perhaps, we see in the numbers the minimization of negative impacts, but I would really like us to ensure each Ukrainian family feel that the situation is changing, there are more jobs, higher wages, the economy is growing", stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime Minister urged members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to intensify work on the implementation of the Action Plan for the Government.
"We have certain economic growth, but we also have two objectives: to accelerate the pace and do everything to make people feel the results of this growth", said Volodymyr Groysman.
