"The Ukrainian government is not alone in its struggle for the better future," she said.
The Secretary stressed that the United States was interested in the further development of Ukraine and implementation of reforms. So, she said, the Obama administration provided $ 2 billion in loan guarantees to protect "the most vulnerable groups of Ukrainian population from the implementation of the necessary economic amendments within the reforms."
In addition, USD 16 million were allocated for programs focusing on economic stabilization, reform and development, Pritzker said. According to her, "it will promote Ukraine's cooperation with the international institutions, particularly with the EBRD, the International Finance Corporation, and the World Bank."
At the same time, Pritzker said, the reforms are the part of the efforts needed to achieve the desired economic prosperity of the Ukrainian people.
