Stoltenberg to launch two joint projects in Kyiv

The cooperation between Ukraine and the Alliance will be intensified after the visit of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to Kyiv scheduled for September.
Deputy Defense Minister for European integration Ihor Dolhov said this at the briefing on Thursday.
"The additional agreement on assistance between the NATO and the Defense Ministry was finally agreed on last week. This agreement provides for direct deliveries to Ukraine to reform the system of logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he said.
According to Dolhov, the NATO Secretary General is also expected to officially launch two new programs of cooperation between Ukraine and the Alliance, namely "the mine clearance project and the other program of development of possibilities of the Ukrainian side in field of strategic communications."
