White House Legal Aid Interagency Roundtable Annual Report Highlights Conference Work

The Department of Justice released the First Annual Report of the White House Legal Aid Interagency Roundtable on November 30, 2016, as required by Presidential memorandum. The report summarizes the activities of the White House Legal Aid Interagency Roundtable over the past year and describes achievements by its member agencies, including the Administrative Conference.
The report highlights the Working Group on Self-Represented Parties in Administrative Hearings, co-chaired by the Conference and DOJ’s Office for Access to Justice, which the report calls a “centerpiece” of the roundtable’s efforts to develop promising practices. The report also features the Conference’s project on Self-Represented Parties in Administrative Hearings, which will be considered by the Conference Assembly in December 2016.
