Ukrainian President signed the law on elimination of administrative barriers to export of services

President Petro Poroshenko signed Law “On Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Elimination of Administrative Barriers to Export of Services”.

The Head of State called the adopted law a very important initiative, the implementation of which has become possible due to the joint efforts of the National Council of Reforms, Government, subject ministries, Parliament, society, business environment and President.
“We are switching from e-procurement to e-contracts. This has finally happened,” the President added.
The document minimizes administrative barriers in the course of the conclusion of foreign economic contracts, currency earnings accounting and financial reporting.

From now on, conclusion of foreign economic treaties will be available not only in written, but also in electronic form. The law also forbids the banks to require Ukrainian translation of documents concluded in English. The invoice will be recognized primary document and can be signed via personal signature, analogue of personal signature, electronic signature, electronic digital signature, electronic signature with single-use identifier.
“It is a very important step that must be intensively continued,” Petro Poroshenko said signing the document. He emphasized that the law made a huge step in the creation of investment climate in Ukraine.
“Today it is the first step to equip everyone, from businessmen to Prime Minister, with arguments why investors should enter the Ukrainian market and why fantastic business conditions will be created here,” the Head of State stressed.
Petro Poroshenko noted that Ukraine was building a competitive economy, improving the investment climate, increasing stability of the banking system and using the benefits of deep and comprehensive free trade area with the biggest market of the world.
