Minister of Defence
of Ukraine General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak held a meeting
with a group of senior foreign advisers.
They discussed the situation
in the east of Ukraine and further work within MoD of Ukraine.
The US, the UK, Canadian, and
Lithuanian advisers remarked they had revised the system and started their
practical work.
“It’s very important
for us your evaluation and assistance at all levels
of initiated reforms. Hence, shortly there are planned meetings of a group
of advisers with heads of sub-committees of the committee
of reforms of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine,” the
minister stressed underlining this work was very important for implementation
of reforms and international experience.
“I’m sure the work
of senior advisers will be successful and fruitful as you have
experience and a desire to help. The Ministry of Defence
of Ukraine is ready to support your initiatives and ensure your
working process,” General Poltorak underscored.
Foreign advisers praised the
achievements of the Ukrainian army over the past two years.
