The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
to extend the 2001 moratorium on the sale of agricultural land until 2018. For
the adoption of the bill as a basis and as a whole voted 297 deputies with the
required minimum of 226 votes.
The document notes that the term of the
moratorium will be automatically extended until the entry into force of the
draft law on turnover of agricultural land. It should be noted that the draft
law is currently being developed by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food,
together with other responsible agencies.
