Let's Celebrate Women's Small Business Month Together: Get Tips for Starting or Growing a Small Business - Oct. 20th

We know the importance women have on our economy. Women entrepreneurs run 30 percent of all small businesses, employ more than 7 million workers, and generate over $1 trillion in revenue each year. We can do more together by giving you the tools and resources to create or grow a small business, employee more Americans and help generate additional revenue.
Please join the SBA as we celebrate Women’s Small Business Month and help you either start or grow a business. SBA’s Assistant Administrator for Women’s Business Ownership, Erin Andrew will discuss how to turn your idea or hobby into a business and help you grow your existing business through programs like SBA’s Emerging Leaders Initiative and government contracting opportunities.

SBA’s Assistant Administrator for Women’s Business Ownership, Erin Andrew oversees the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) efforts to promote the growth of women-owned businesses through advocacy and programs that provide business training and counseling, access to credit and capital, and multiple business and networking opportunities. Andrew manages a nationwide network of women's business centers that provide training, counseling and mentoring to hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs in every state and two U.S. territories.  Her office also works with representatives in every SBA district office to oversee operations of the women’s business centers and to coordinate services for women entrepreneurs.
