Here’s who wants to profit from growing medical marijuana in Maryland

The people applying for licenses to grow medical marijuana include retired sheriffs, former lawmakers and pot entrepreneurs from across the country. Records obtained by The Washington Post reveal for the first time who is trying to profit off the legalization of a once-criminal crop.
