Murderous war in Donbas has been unleashed by Russia's "imperial psychosis and bloody hands," Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said during the opening of "Mothers of Heroes" photo exhibition in the Museum of History of Ukraine in World War II in Kyiv, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
Poroshenko said for him as the president it "is unspeakable pain
you feel every time when these reports come informing not only about military
losses but also about civilian casualties, about people suffering, about all
those things that have resulted from Russia's aggression, which plagued our
land in early 2014 together with the occupying forces," the president
said.
"This war was unleashed by the Russian aggressor state, and the sin of
manslaughter is borne entirely by them, who, with their imperial psychosis and
bloody hands, have started this murderous war," the president said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on May 8, Ukraine marks the Day of Remembrance
and Reconciliation, which pays tribute to victims of the 1939-1945 World War
II.
