Cyprus completes ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement

Cyprus has handed over the instruments of ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement to the Council of the European Union.

Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski said this during the meeting with professors and students of the National Aviation University of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The end of ratification is submission of the instruments of ratification. Cyprus handed over the instruments of ratification yesterday [February 1]," Tombinski said.

According to the website of the Council of the European Union, Belgium, which ratified the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement last December, has already handed over the instruments of ratification.

Hence the Netherlands remains the only country that has not yet completed the ratification procedure for the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
