Russian missile shrapnel in MH17 wreckage

Parts of a Russian anti-aircraft missile have been identified from the wreckage of the Malaysia Airlines plane shot down over Ukraine in July last year, providing potential evidence that pro-Moscow separatists were responsible for the disaster.

It is the first time that investigators have retrieved physical evidence that could prove a Russian hand in the downing of Flight MH17, which crashed killing all 298 on board after flying over the conflict zone in east Ukraine.
