Moscow believes the issue "Mistral" fully resolved

A telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and French President Francois Hollande.

President of the Russian Federation and the President of the French Republic made a joint decision to terminate the contract for the construction and delivery of two landing helicopter dock ships, such as "Mistral", signed in June 2011.

During expert talks that held in the traditional Russian-French relations a friendly manner, it failed to reach a mutually acceptable agreement on the Russian side compensation funds paid under the contract and the return of the supplied Russian equipment and materials.

France has already provided funds and after the return of the equipment will acquire the ownership and will be able to dispose of the two ships.
