Ukraine can harvest 60 million tons of grain crop, and export - 37 million tonnes in 2015.
The press office has stated the data citing minister of agriculture and food Oleksii Pavlenko.
"Ministry of agrarian policy and food has issued an optimistic projection for the new season of grain crops, despite the pessimistic forecasts voiced by international experts. Ukraine will harvest about 60 million tonnes of grain. Taking into account the stable level of domestic consumption at 27 million tonnes and high competition in the world grain market, exports, according to preliminary estimates, will range from 34 to 37 million tonnes," he said.
As a reminder, the gross yield of grain and leguminous in 2014 totaled 63.8 million tonnes, including wheat - 24.1 million tonnes, barley - 9.04 million tonnes, and corn - 28.45 million tonnes.
