NGO International Insurance Group (Russia) has sold all of its insurance
assets in Ukraine, Ingosstrakh CEO Mikhail Volkov has told Interfax.
He said that INGO Ukraine risk company and INGO Ukraine Life insurance
company have been sold.
He stressed that the deal was prepared in advance but
did not disclose the buyer of the Ukrainian companies and the sum of the
transaction.
INGO International Insurance Group was created in
2004.
As reported, CJSC Invest-Polis (Moscow, Russia) sold 99.9993% of INGO
Ukraine.
The transaction was made through a sale and purchase
contract. INGO Ukraine was notified on July 6. Information about the buyer has
not been released
INGO Ukraine, part of INGO International Insurance Group, has been
operating since 1994. It has 28 licenses for various types of compulsory and
voluntary insurance. It consists of 25 branches.
INGO Ukraine Life received its life insurance license
in November 2007.
