The voluntary association of local communities

President of Ukraine Poroshenko signed the Law "On the voluntary association of local communities."

Law №157-VIII on February 5, regulates relations arising in the process of voluntary association of territorial communities of villages, towns and cities.

The law sets out the principles of voluntary association of local communities, defines the subjects and the basic conditions of voluntary association, describes the association of territorial communities of villages, towns, cities, and provide them with government support.
