President of Ukraine approves abolition of import duties on military products

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has approved the amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding exemption of duties on military products.

This has been announced by press office the Head of State.

"The document introduces prerequisite for qualification "country of origin" of military products, which eliminates the potential possibility of supply of these products from a country, which has been recognized the occupier state or the aggressor state in relation to Ukraine or from the occupied territory of Ukraine, defined such according to the law," reads the statement.

At the same time, the amended law eliminates the regulatory obstacles to real tax-free import of defensive products to the territory of our country from the United States, Canada, Brazil, China, India and majority of European countries.
