Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree on instituting the Donetsk and Luhansk regional military-civilian administrations, the presidential press service reports.
"The document dated March 5 also institutes the Volnovakha and Maryinka district military-civilian administrations and Avdiyivka, Vuhledar, and Krasnohorivka town military-civilian administrations in Maryinka district of Donetsk region; and also the Novy Aidar, Popasna, and Stanytsia Luhanska district military-civilian administrations and military civilian administrations in the villages of Krymske and Triokhizbenka, in the villages of Kriakivka, Lobachove, Lopaskyne, and Horikhovo-Donetske in Novy Aidar district, in the villages of Novotoshkivske and Zholobok in Popasna district, and in the villages of Troyitske and Novozvanivka in Popasna district," the presidential press service reported on Thursday.
The decree stipulates that Donetsk and Luhansk state regional administrations acquire status as Donetsk and Luhansk regional military-district administrations, and their chiefs become chiefs of the Donetsk and Luhansk regional military-civilian administrations. The same concerns the newly-established lower levels administrations.
