The state program of energy
efficiency has become popular among Ukrainians. More than 100,000 familiesmade
use of this program, including individuals and members of condominium
associations (condominiums).
According to
data of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, by
early February 2016 an overall sum of disbursement under this programme
amounted to about UAH 1.3 billion. In particular, loans were granted to replace
gas boilers and purchase energy efficient equipment and materials.
In 2015, the Government reimbursed only UAH 302 million compensation under
"warm" loans programme.
