A governmental law on scientific and technology activities, which will
facilitate the integration of Ukrainian science in the European research area,
was adopted.
This week, Ukrainian MPs have
supported the government law on scientific and scientific and technology activities. The law provides access to
research funding not only for particular institutions but also for teams of researchers and individual
scientists. The share of grant funding that will be distributed through the National Research Fund under
transparent criteria is increasing.
The law also expands the
cooperation between the academic and university science, as well as establishes institutions for this interaction (collective centers, key
laboratories, etc.).
