Special duty on imported cars will be abolished Sept. 30 (Joint Committee on International Trade)

MESSAGE

the abolition of the special measures for import into Ukraine cars regardless of country of origin and export

September 10, 2015 Interdepartmental International Trade Commission (hereinafter - Commission) considered the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine regarding the need to cancel the special measures for import into Ukraine cars regardless of country of origin and export applied Commission Decision of 28.04.2012 № SP 275/2012 / 4423-08. ukurier.gov.ua

After reviewing these materials and following the provisions of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures WTO Dispute Settlement Commission found that the national interests of Ukraine require the abolition of the special measures for import into Ukraine cars regardless of country of origin and export in order to meet approved the Dispute Settlement Body recommendations in the case " Ukraine - cars »(DS 468).

Considering the above and following the provisions of Articles 7, 17 and 19 of the Law of Ukraine "On the application of safeguard measures on imports of Ukraine", the Commission decided number SP-335/2015 / 4442-06 ckasuvannya of special measures taken by the Commission on 28.04.2012 number SP-275/2012 / 4423-08.

Commission Decision of 10.09.2015 № SP-335/2015 / 4442-06 comes into force on 30 September 2015.
