President on preparing a draft law on the Anticorruption Court: I hope for progress on this issue in the next few days

During a working visit to Lithuania, President Petro Poroshenko discussed the issue of the creation of the Supreme Anticorruption Court of Ukraine with President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė.

"I informed Mrs. President about the issue of establishing the Anticorruption Court. As you know, this initiative is blocked in the Parliament by a bill registered a year ago that does not allow to introduce a new draft law," the Head of State noted during a conversation with media representatives following talks with President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė. He recalled that the old bill received a critical conclusion of the Venice Commission, including on the unconstitutionality of the provisions of this project.
