Haeberle and Energoatom’s President Mr Yuriy Nedashkovskyi signed the contract
at a ceremony in Kyiv. Present at the event was also the British

Speaking at the signing
ceremony, Thomas Haeberle, CEO/URENCO, said: “In 2016, URENCO was invited
to submit an offer for supply of Enriched Uranium as part of Energoatom’s
competitive procurement exercise. URENCO is pleased that Energoatom is once again
part of its global portfolio of customers and looks forward to making
deliveries under the new contract in due course.”
Underlining the steps that
Energoatom is consistently taking to strengthen Ukraine’s energy security, its
president Yuriy Nedashkovskyi said: “The contract signed today will allow
us to cooperate, on a mutually beneficial basis, with one of the world leaders

nuclear power plants. This contract is another consistent step by Energoatom to
diversify nuclear materials and fuel supply to meet the needs of Ukrainian
NPPs.”
