Arseniy Yatsenyuk: There should not be a political dispute whether to adopt 'visa-free' laws. The introduction of a visa-free regime is a real step towards achieving our European dream

It is vital to ensure a positive vote on 18 February in Parliament for legislation necessary to introduce a visa-free regime with the EU: "There cannot be any political dispute. This is what Ukrainian citizens were fighting for in the Maidan events, this is our European dream. And a real step to achieve our European dream is the introduction of the visa-free regime", said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during the governmental meeting on Wednesday, 17 February.
He reminded that the Government had drafted all the necessary bills, the President had submitted these laws to the Parliament.

The Prime Minister also stressed that a few weeks before, during a session of the Parliament, when those laws were voted in the first reading, there were made certain exclusions that do not comply with directives of the European Union.
"Therefore we should now again get back to considering the legislation having been submitted to the Parliament. And tomorrow it is vital to ensure a positive vote procedure. Whoever supports the law on visa-free regime in Ukraine are really Pro-European democratic forces", he urged.
"It is time to remove artificial political hysteria, stop fighting for power, while it is time for everyone to unite in a real fight for our successful country", said Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
