The Verkhovna Rada
of Ukraine supported in the second reading and in whole a draft Law
of Ukraine "On amendments to the #Land_Code of Ukraine concerning land
auctions" (No. 2279), which makes it impossible to obtain land plots of
state-owned and municipal property in rent avoiding land
auctions.
The aforesaid decision was
supported by 228 MPs of Ukraine.
The bill is aimed
at reducing corruption in the process of control of use of land
plots of state and communal ownership, as well as optimization of procedures
for conducting land sales.
In addition, the
adoption of this bill will increase revenues to local budgets.
