Preferential migration regime for Ukrainians cansel in Russia



From now, the citizens of Ukraine may be in Russia on common rules: no more than 90 days within six months, with the exception of refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

For a long stay in Russia, they need to obtain a work permit, or to obtain other suitable status.

According to the Federal Migration Service in Russia are 2.6 million citizens of Ukraine, more than 1 million people in the east of Ukraine.
