You're part of a board of directors or group of
shareholders, and wrangling everyone for a meeting can be tough. You don't need
to rally the troops for Unanimous Consent. Does everyone agree on a decision?
There might not be a need to meet in person. You're
busy. They're busy. Unanimous Consent can cut to the chase without a meeting.
Use the Unanimous Consent document if:
You need to record official actions of the directors
and/or shareholders of a corporation that were taken by unanimous consent,
rather than as part of a formal meeting.
Let's be honest - formal meetings aren't the most
exciting part of your day. When everyone's on the same page, save yourself some
time with Unanimous Consent. There's no worry about making quorum. There's no
hassle over getting everyone's preference for a box lunch. The only catch?
Everyone has to agree on the action or decision. Yes, even that person who
always wants to debate. This isn't a way to replace meetings. It's still
important to get together and have discussions.
But sometimes, decisions have to be made. Right away.
And if everybody agrees with no questions asked, you can take care of things
quickly. Unanimous Consent might just be your secret weapon when you really
need one.
