The joint operation Border 2015 has been launched
under the coordination of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, in close
cooperation with other law enforcement agencies of the state, border agencies
of the European Union.
The joint operation of border agencies of Ukraine
and the EU has the status of national, long-term and is aimed at combating
illegal migration and human trafficking.
The result of the operation should be a reduction
in illegal activities related to the organization of smuggling channels of
illegal migrants and improvement of interaction at the interdepartmental,
interagency and international levels in combating illegal migration.
