German Chancellor Angela Merkel promises full support for Ukraine on its way to achieve peace in the country and to modernize the economy.
She said this before the meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Berlin.
"Ukraine receives support from us on its path to peace. Germant will continue providing this support," Merkel assured.
The Chancellor called the German-Ukrainian relations as "excellent". She recalled that Germany provided the assistance to Ukraine in its economic reforms and humanitarian aspects.
