Ukraine has finally put its money where its mouth is in implementing reforms, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski has said.
During a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, Komorowski said he cherished Ukraine's progress in taking difficult decisions about the reforms it has begun to implement.
He expressed his gratitude for a chance to speak in Ukraine's parliament and to address to the Ukrainian people.
Komorowski said that Ukraine is going through a difficult period of reformation as Poland once did, adding that the Polish succeeded in reforming the country due to their ingenuity.
He said that Poland's support of Ukraine was not just some kind of political fashion fad as, for Poland, Ukraine becoming successful, independent and part of Europe is strategically crucial.
Komorowski added that he believes in active bilateral cooperation between the two states, not just within the framework of the western world or the European Union.
