SOFA EXPERT GEOPOLITICS: PUTIN'S FIESTA OR THE SUN RISES

 

The presidential elections in Russia brought the expected results. Official landslide victory for Putin. The actions of the opposition were clumsy and infantile in nature. It looked like in Tsarist Russia the serfs came to the manor's house and knelt down. Freedom is not gained by protesting on one's knees.

Intoxicated by victory, Putin looked happy at the meeting with his election staff. This is the pinnacle of his political rule. This is his holiday as an unpunished murderer and liar. Putin's fiesta of psychopathic permissiveness.

Many people talk about the staged nature of the elections. Many people talk about rigging the results. Perhaps this is true. We want attention to the true meaning of these elections.

The first meaning is Putin's coronation for an indefinite reign.

The second meaning is much more important than the first. These elections are a referendum of the Russian people on the issue of continuing the war with Ukraine and with Europe.

The Russian people gave Putin a mandate to destroy Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. The Russian people gave Putin a mandate to seize the territories of European states.

Give us all the territories we want or we will start a third world war. This is the ultimatum that Russian society put forward to the civilized world through Putin. Putin is not the reason. Putin is only a consequence.

Could anyone imagine a weaker US policy than it is today? A shame is a shame. The US abandoned Ukraine just as they abandoned Afghanistan to the delight of a triumphant Putin.

Darkness covered Ukraine. The pendulum has swung towards Russia. But the deeper the darkness, the closer the dawn. Readers of Hemingway know that the sun always rises after Fiesta. In this case it is the Ukrainian sun. As one wise man said: Russia will disappear when the Ukrainian sun rises.
