The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine will sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Dutch organization Task Force Health Care (TFHC) through which the medical business of the Netherlands will be able to invest in Ukrainian medicine.
Deputy Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Roman Ilyk and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport of the Nertherlands Erik Gerritsen discussed the progress of the Ukrainian medical reform in the framework of the international congress "The World of Health Care", the issue of initiating transplantation in the country and Ukraine's accession to the Netherlands healthcare platform.
"I am impressed by the pace and scale of health care reforms taking place in Ukraine. I understand challenges you are facing and stand ready to fully support reforms and ensure fruitful cooperation between our ministries", Erik Gerritsen stressed.
The transformation of the healthcare sector is a complicated, long-lasting process, and we are constantly updating and improving the directions of our development. By changing the financing model, creating a single financial operator – the National Health Service of Ukraine we lay a good basis for expanding the investment potential of the country. And the engagement in different advanced medical world communities is an instrument for attracting investment in modernizing our hospitals and making healthcare more accessible. The Ministry of Healthcare praises joining the TFHC platform. We hope that this platform will be another instrument of development of public-private partnership in Ukrainian medicine and cooperation between our states", Roman Ilyk underscored.
